This album, "into the light" was completed in 2017. We both feel this is our best writing to date, we hope you think so too!

Anthony "Scout" Barbuto, my father-in-law, was born in Italy and came to this country as a boy. He grew up in Hingham, Mass. He worked as a stone mason and loved country music. We had a great time playing guitars together and singing over the years. He would talk about playing music with friends and he told me about a train that went through Hingham when he was a boy called the "Old Colony Line". He even wrote a song about it, but it got lost and he couldn't remember it now. Well, years later we found that song in an old music book tucked away in a cabinet. Scout was close to 90 then and had some health concerns so the family decided it would be nice to make a CD of the song just like he always wanted.

My wife Mary, Scout's daughter, used his original lyrics to create the first three verses, I added a fourth verse plus chorus, and Richard came up with a catchy tune that sounded like a train. We recorded the song at "Jarmany Hill Sound" 2016 and made copies for him and the family. Scout loved it and was so proud! He told me once that his one regret was not keeping more active with his music. It was that advice, and the fun we had making the CD that really served as a springboard for Richard and I to get back to recording original Coyote Bleux music, resulting in our latest CD, "into the light". To Scout: May the music always be with you and thanks for sharing yours with us. You are missed greatly and loved always. Steve, Mary, and family
